Working for the last 30 years in the social and development sectors and earlier 10 years' experience in large and reputed corporates both in private and public sectors, Mr. Nanda is internationally reputed professional in Public Health including Mental health, HIV/AIDS, Drugs, Children, Women and Elderly vulnerable population; Prisons Reforms including Human Rights, Health, Drugs, Education, Juvenile Justice and Vocational Skills; Empowering Women and Girl Child; Skills Development & jobs for youth.
Mr. Nanda worked as South Asia Regional Director (SARO) with Penal Reform International office based in Kathmandu Nepal for four years and with United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office South Asia (ROSA) as the Senior National Program Specialist. In addition, he has worked with USAID as Division Chief Program Development Implementation & Training (PDIT) office, Program Director International HIV/AIDS Alliance, Director Family Health International/FHI 360, Director (Honorary) Mercy Corps India & providing professional advice to NGOs including “Selfie with Daughter Foundation”. He plans to start working in India and Nepal combining his varied experiences with good international practices especially for underprivileged, women & girls and seniors.
Ganesh Shah (born December 12, 1949) is a Nepalese politician, former Minister for Environment, Science, and Technology, and a senior leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (United). He holds an M-Tech degree in mechanical engineering from Patrice Lumumba People's Friendship University. Shah is a strong advocate for climate change issues in Nepal and has been quoted in various media outlets. He is known for his technological proficiency and maintains a personal blog and an active presence on Facebook. Shah hails from Lohana Dhanusha and belongs to the Madhesi ethnicity, a business caste.
