Eak Abhiyan
Eak Abhiyan campaign, which was started during the Corona Pandemic to give secure Internet connectivity to orphans in Nepal includes the Art Workshop as a key project. The effort, which is being spearheaded by the Nepal Internet Foundation's dedication to closing the digital divide, has already achieved notable strides by giving free Internet connections to 21 out of the total 39 foster homes in the Budhanilkantha Municipality.
Raising fund for the Eak Abhiyan campaign was one of the Art Workshop's main goals. The fund raised will go toward giving foster homes access to dependable, secure, and cost-free Internet connectivity. Foster children will now have access to educational materials, online opportunities, and a way to communicate with the rest of the world as part of this initiative, which aims to close the digital divide and give foster children more power. All the artists, volunteers, and guests who helped make the event a success will be appreciated by NIF.
We really believe that foster children's lives can be drastically improved by having access to the Internet as a fundamental right. We want to establish a welcoming environment where foster children can explore educational materials, participate in online learning, and hone their skills for a better future. To that end, we offer every individual to come forward for a novel cause and show their talent with art.
The field of information and communication technology is developing quickly in the modern digital age, bringing with it a plethora of detrimental and unsettling repercussions. Children and young people are particularly susceptible to online hazards like sexting, cyberbullying, phishing, and sexual abuse and exploitation. Our ad acknowledges the significance of online safety for kids and teenagers as well as the necessity for everyone to contribute to making the internet a safer place. We aspire to have a big impact on the lives of foster children in Nepal through the use of social media, email marketing, fundraising activities, and corporate sponsorships. Join us in our endeavor to provide these kids with a secure and supportive home where they can develop and flourish.
Our Objective:
Our main goal at Eak Abhiyan is to increase support for and knowledge of foster care facilities in Nepal. We are adamant that the Internet can be an effective instrument for reaching a larger audience and disseminating information regarding the value of foster care for kids and the potential of the Internet to connect them with the rest of the world. Through our initiative, we hope to:
